Planned Giving
The Aging Services for North Idaho Endowment
The demand for services to keep seniors safe at home far exceeds available resources. In answer to this need the Area Agency on Aging of North Idaho has partnered with Innovia Foundation to establish the Aging Services for North Idaho Endowment.
What is an Endowment?
An endowment represents the establishment of an income generating fund (principal) which generates investment income (interest) to ensure the future funding of critically needed services. The principal is never spent, but the interest income generated is utilized by the organization to meet the established goals and purpose of the endowment.
How will this endowment be used?
The Area Agency on Aging of North Idaho provides, coordinates, and funds numerous community and in-home services for aging adults including: homemaker services, family caregiver respite, information and referral, home delivered meals, senior center meals, long-term care facility advocates, and adult protective services.
How to Create Your Legacy
There are a variety of ways to donate to the endowment. A bequest made in your will or living trust is perhaps the most popular way to support the endowment. Other options include cash, stocks, securities and bonds, mutual funds, real estate, life insurance policies, personal property and retirement plan assets. Regardless of how or why you decide to contribute, planned giving is a way for individuals to support seniors in north Idaho, and giving on behalf of or in memory of a loved one is a wonderful tribute.

She wants seniors with no close family to have access to a safety net that gives a sense of well being and security. Her gift today live s on perpetually. Giving to the Aging Services for North Idaho Endowment is a way to contribute to a fund that will perpetually provide care for seniors in our own community. Who will be there when you need help?
