The Area Agency on Aging is responsible for preparing a four-year plan detailing demographics, goals and objectives, areas of need, and other information regarding the senior population in the five northern counties.

The Idaho Commission on Aging is Idaho's Aging and Disability Resource Center and is the state agency designated by the governor to administer and ensure compliance of federally funded programs under the Federal Older Americans Act. Visit http://www.idahoaging.com/.
Members of the five County Councils on Aging gather twice each year to advise staff on the area plan and other issues that affect the area wide scope of services.
